How it reaches you
The One Hand Kitchen is a digital book. Nothing is posted to you and there is nothing to install. The moment the payment clears we email the address you used at the checkout, and the link in that email opens the book in a browser on a phone, a tablet or a laptop.
If nothing has arrived within fifteen minutes, look in the promotions or the spam folder first, then write to info@chef-kenji.com and we will send it again by hand the same day.
Before it opens
While the book is still being written the page collects an email address rather than a payment. Nobody on that list is charged anything. The one email you get from it is the one that says the book is ready, and you can leave the list from any email in one click.
Signing in
There is no password to invent. The link in the email signs you in, and you can ask for a fresh link with the same address at any time, on any device.
Treat that link the way you would treat a password. Anybody holding it can read your copy.
What you may do with it
Reading it, on your own devices, for as long as you like. Quoting a line of it to a friend. Cooking every recipe in it for money in your own kitchen.
What you may not do is republish it. Do not post the contents, do not sell them, and do not hand the access link out in public. The recipes, the photographs and the text stay ours.
New recipes appear in the same place over time at no extra cost, and we may correct or rewrite one when we find a better way to say it.
What it costs
Nine dollars and ninety cents, once, in United States dollars. No subscription, no renewal, no second charge of any kind. Sales tax is added at the checkout where the law requires it.
Refunds
Thirty days, and we do not ask whether you read it first. Write to info@chef-kenji.com from the address you bought it with and the whole amount goes back to the card you paid with. There is nothing to send back.
Because it is delivered the moment you pay, a buyer in the European Union or the United Kingdom agrees at the checkout that delivery starts at once, which ends the statutory fourteen day right to withdraw. The thirty days here is longer than that right and applies wherever you live.
If we ever stop
If this shop stops trading we will email everybody who bought the book with a copy they can download and keep, and we will give at least thirty days of notice before access ends. A book you paid for is not something to switch off quietly.
