Agreement
By using this site or buying from it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not buy. We may change them; the version live on this page at the moment you order is the one that governs your order.
What you are buying
A kitchen knife. It is sharp on arrival and it is sold for preparing food by an adult. You must be at least eighteen to order, and by ordering you confirm that you are.
Wood and cast resin are natural, hand finished materials. The grain and the swirl in your handle will not be identical to the photographs. That is the nature of the material and is not a defect.
Prices and orders
Prices are in United States dollars and include free domestic shipping. We can change prices at any time; the price you were shown at checkout is the price you pay.
Your order is an offer rather than a completed contract. We accept it when we ship it. If a price or a stock figure is obviously wrong we will cancel and refund in full rather than honour the error, and we will tell you why. We may also refuse or limit an order that looks like resale or fraud.
Safety, and read this one
A knife this sharp will cut you if you are careless with it. Use it on a board, keep your knuckles ahead of your fingertips, never try to catch it if it falls, and keep it away from children.
Do not use it on bone, frozen food, tins or anything hard, and never put it in a dishwasher. Either will damage the edge and neither is covered.
Liability
We are responsible for the knife arriving as described, and for anything the law does not permit us to exclude, including death or personal injury caused by our own negligence and any liability for fraud.
Beyond that, and to the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to an order is limited to what you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing here removes a statutory right you have as a consumer.
The content on this site
The text, the photographs, the films and the mark are ours, and you may not copy them for commercial use. Reviews belong to the buyers who wrote them and are their words.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the place in which the business is registered, and any dispute goes to the courts of that place. If any part of them is unenforceable the rest still stands.
